Privacy
1Outcome is run by Cong Viet Ho, known as Viet Ho. This notice covers our own website, leak-check requests and booking inquiries. Client campaigns have their own privacy notices.
What we collect
For a leak check, we ask for the page your ads link to, your name and email, and your service category. Company name, phone and notes are optional. Please do not send passwords, payment details or your customers' personal information.
When pages load, your browser sends connection details, such as your IP address, to the companies that host the site and its embedded content.
How a request reaches us
The form opens an email draft. Nothing is sent until you press send in your email app. Your email provider handles the message, and Google handles ours.
If we turn on online submissions, Cloudflare will receive the form and an email delivery provider will send us an alert with your details. We will also receive the submission time, a request reference, the page you used and any campaign information in its address. Cloudflare briefly uses your IP address to limit spam. Form items there expire after 90 days. We will name the email provider here before that starts.
Why we use it
To prepare the leak check, reply to your inquiry and keep a record of our conversation. Sending the form does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We do not sell your details or share them for another business's marketing.
Bookings
This website includes embedded Google Calendar content. Your browser connects to Google when that content loads, even before you open the booking window. If you book a call, Google processes the details you provide to arrange the appointment and meeting. See Google's privacy policy for how it handles that information.
Where it is kept
Vercel hosts this website. We keep inquiry and contact records in our private internal system on the owner's Mac, and we access them from Canada. Copies of that system are backed up to Apple iCloud Drive and Google Drive. Email and booking records are held by Google.
These providers may process or store information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information may be accessible to authorities under the laws of the country where it is held. We remain responsible for the personal information under our control.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries that do not become clients: 24 months from our last contact, including email and calendar copies. We review these every quarter and delete what has passed that date.
- Client and financial records: as long as tax and legal rules require, usually six years from the end of the last tax year they relate to.
- Requests not to be contacted: as long as we need them to keep honouring your request.
- Backups: after we delete your details, older backup copies normally clear within about 90 days. We do not use them for day-to-day work.
Your choices
You can leave optional fields empty. You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy or a correction, ask us to stop using it, or ask us to delete it. We reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address we have on file.
If we delete your details, we keep a coded record of the request so they stay deleted if we ever restore a backup. It does not show your details in readable form. If a law requires us to keep something, we will tell you what and why.
